Annual open season extends from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend  -  10:00AM to 5:00PM

  • Tour Ft. Umpqua, a replica of the Hudson's Bay Company fur trading outpost.
  •  Observe native butterflies and learn their life cycle. 
  • Walk the trails through our native plant park. 
  • Stroll the beautiful flower gardens.
  • Visit the heritage orchard and community gardens and buy fresh produce at our market stand.
  • View works of art by local artists while you peruse the community library. 
  • Browse the gift shop for nature and history related gifts and handmade items from local craftsmen. 
  • Enjoy espresso, food, cold drinks and ice cream.
  • Host your special event at one of the many venues at ECEC
Directions
  • From Eugene go south on I-5 to exit 162 and follow Hwy 38 west to Elkton
  • From Reedsport take Hwy 38 east to Elkton
  • From Roseburg go north on I-5 to exit 136 and take Hwy 138 west to Elkton
